Current Opportunity: Part-Time Corporate Paralegal
Onsite/Hybrid/Remote: Onsite at our Raleigh, NC office
About the Role:
The Corporate Paralegal provides comprehensive legal and administrative support to corporate attorney(s). This role involves conducting legal research, investigating issues, and assisting in the preparation and review of legal documents. The Corporate Paralegal reports directly to the Corporate Attorney and plays a key role in supporting day-to-day legal operations.
What We’re Looking For:
Associate’s degree or certification in Paralegal Studies, with 5+ years of experience in a corporate law firm or in-house legal department, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally and deliver exceptional service
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage multiple deadlines
Experience drafting correspondence and legal documents
Proficiency in conducting online legal research
Experience with document management systems such as SharePoint, Dynamics, and ContractSafe
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word; working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Support attorney(s) with legal research, document preparation, and general administrative tasks, including maintaining legal databases
Conduct legal and factual research, identifying relevant statutes, regulations, case law, and other materials
Prepare correspondence, reports, and legal memoranda
Draft and review transactional and corporate governance documents for accuracy and completeness
Organize, analyze, and validate information to ensure accuracy and consistency across documents
Assist with the coordination and management of legal and cross-functional projects
Provide administrative and clerical support as needed
Perform other related duties as assigned
