Current Opportunity: Proposal Design Lead
Location: Canada
Work Arrangement: Hybrid or Remote (depending on proximity to one of our Canada offices)
Required Experience: 5+ years
Salary: $85,000 - $95,000 CAD
What you will do:
We are seeking a talented Proposal Design Lead to oversee the visual and structural design of our proposals. This role requires a creative professional who can transform complex information into compelling, visually appealing documents that effectively communicate our value propositions to clients. In addition to design responsibilities, the Proposal Design Lead will also manage the proposal development process, ensuring timely and high-quality submissions.
Responsibilities:
- Proposal Design Strategy: Develop and implement design strategies that enhance the visual appeal and readability of proposals, ensuring alignment with WPO branding and client expectations.
- Visual Content Creation: Collaborate with proposal team and SMEs to create graphics, infographics, charts, and layouts that effectively convey complex information.
- Template Development: Design and maintain proposal templates and style guides to ensure consistency and efficiency across all proposal documents.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Service Delivery, SAM, and SMEs, to gather content and incorporate feedback into proposal designs.
- Quality Assurance: Review and refine proposal documents to ensure high-quality design standards, accuracy, and compliance with client requirements.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance the proposal design process, implementing best practices and innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Proposal Development: Lead the proposal development process, including planning, writing, and editing proposals in response to RFXs.
- Content Management: Develop and maintain a repository of proposal resources, templates, and best practices to streamline future submissions.
- Compliance: Ensure all proposals comply with client specifications and company standards, addressing all requirements outlined in RFXs.
- Deadline Management: Manage multiple proposal deadlines and prioritize workload to ensure timely delivery.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years in graphic design or proposal design, preferably within EAP.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
