Current Opportunity: Corporate Paralegal
Location: Onsite at our Raleigh, NC office
About the Role:
The paralegal provides comprehensive legal and administrative support to other legal staff and attorneys worldwide. This role involves preparing and organizing documents for global corporate governance (minute books, resolutions, filings), providing corporate information to the sales team and other stakeholders for the growth and facilitation of business, and assisting in the preparation and review of other legal documents and correspondence.
What We’re Looking For:
- Associate’s degree or certification in paralegal studies, with 3+ years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably with corporate, business or international law
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally and deliver exceptional service
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
- Ability to work independently but also be a supportive and productive member of a team
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage multiple deadlines
- Excellent writing and grammatical skills to draft correspondence and legal documents
- Proficiency in conducting online legal research
- Experience with document management systems such as SharePoint, Dynamics, and ContractSafe, or equivalent platforms.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and experience with AI tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support attorneys with legal research, document preparation, and general administrative tasks
- Prepare correspondence and reports
- Draft corporate governance documents and organize information
- Assist with the coordination and management of cross-functional projects
- Provide administrative and clerical support, as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned
