Through our Military OneSource contract our employees focus on assisting our Military Service members telephonically offering them tools they need to overcome any challenge.

Current Opportunity: WorkLife Consultant 

Location: United States 
Onsite/Hybrid/Remote: Remote 
Shifts: 10:00 -6:30 EST and 11:00am -7:30pm EST (required to work minimum of 2 evening shifts a month from 1:30pm-10:00pm) 
Hourly Rate: $19.23


What we do:

In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to military service members and their families, assisting them in locating valuable resources and referrals within their community. Our Work-Life Consultants work in a fast-paced environment and are expected to uphold WPO's core values while maintaining high-quality customer service. Telephone and exceptional communication skills are vital in this role, as they contribute to our growth and success. We are looking for candidates who are organized, professional, and motivated self-starters.


Responsibilities: 
  • Demonstrate high-quality customer service through use of empathy and active listening to guide conversations.
  • Gather personal information and details about the individual requiring care.
  • Obtain desired geographic locations for referral searches and any personalized criteria.
  • Deliver excellent customer service through written and verbal interactions with our clients and providers.
  • Ensure all entries are complete and accurate in multiple case management systems.
  • Conduct research using our internal database, websites, and local organizations to find resources that meet the client's needs in accordance with the department’s Editing guidelines.
  • Meet deadlines to ensure timeliness of research.
  • Follows structured formatting and guidelines to complete casework.
  • Contact businesses and clients by phone to provide confirmed matched resources to meet the client’s needs.
  • Perform quality assurance callbacks to our clients.
  • Maintain organized records of casework.
  • Ensure high-quality work in all aspects of the position, including accurate data entries with proper spelling and grammar in accordance with the department’s Editing guidelines.
  • Communicate with Team Leads to verify the status of casework via Microsoft Teams and email.

Qualifications/ Skills: 

To excel in this role, you will need the following qualifications and skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • A hard-wired broadband Internet connection via DSL, Cable, or FIOS connection is required
