Job Description: Mobile Architect

Workplace Options (WPO) requires a Senior Mobile Architect to lead the solution design for mobile products serving both iOS and Android apps, who is still ready to get into development in both the platforms. An Architect who maintains expertise in the current and emerging mobile technologies and tools.
The developer will succeed in the role based on how the candidate is ‘easy to work with’. The below determines ‘easy to work with’:

• Demonstrate courteousness and respect to people across diverse cultures, age groups and varied business groups
• Ability to communicate efficiently across all teams
• Transparently convey the status, challenges, and methods used for design and development.

Role Summary and Expectations:

1. Define the overall architecture and design solutions for both iOS and Android apps.
2. Collaborate with business and development team to create architecture, represent the team in all architectural and technical discussions.
3. Produce documentation to aid in the understanding of existing architecture solutions.
4. Recommended improvements for application performance, streamline application deployment and architectural efficiencies.
5. Technical advisor to mobile development teams to plan and implement new/enhance mobile applications.

Role Requirements:

1. Professional with 15+ years of experience across design, development, and system architecture, with at least 5 years of practical expertise in Flutter development and cross-platform integration.
2. Expert proficiency in Android (Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, Architecture Components) and iOS (Swift, Objective-C, iOS SDK, XCode)
3. Architected modular, scalable, and resilient mobile architectures using MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture, and multi‑module design and state management (BLoC, Provider, Riverpod).
4. Proven expertise in RESTful API design, secure backend integration, and mobile security (GDPR/ISO 27001 compliance)
5. Advanced SDK development, CI/CD automation, MDM/MAM solutions (Microsoft Intune), and automated testing
6. Extensive experience releasing applications to both Apple and Android app stores
7. Strong foundation in OOPS, data structures, algorithms, and scalable system architecture
8. Skilled in Agile methodologies, architecture documentation, and collaborative problem-solving
9. .NET, Python knowledge is added advantage.
10. Database knowledge is added advantage.
11. Designed enterprise‑grade communication systems, including in‑app messaging, calls, push notifications, and server‑driven event pipelines.
12. Mastery of state management, unidirectional data flow, and advanced data‑layer patterns.
13. Built offline‑first architectures, sync engines, and optimized API orchestration layers.
14. Deep focus on performance optimization, security, and compliance‑ready designs.
15. Strong experience in observability, logging, CI/CD, and scalable deployment models.
